Dr Panagiotis Kaliantzis graduated the National & Kapodistrian Medical School of Athens in 1989. Served his military duty as a medical officer at Special Forces in Rhodes. During his service he specialized in Diving Medicine. He served his rural service at the Artificial Kindey Unit of Kavala Hospital and then he worked as a resident in General Surgery in Tzannio Hospital Athens.

Since 1995 was trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in various hospitals in Greece and Great Britain (St Peter’s Hospital Surrey, Northampton General Hospital, Luton & Dunstable General Hospital). In 1996 he attained the diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) and in 1997 passed his MRCOG part 1 exam.

In 1999 he attained the title of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist specialist in Greece.

In 2000 worked as Research Registrar at the IVF unit of Liverpool Women’s Hospital the largest IVF unit in Great Britain. He was trained in all aspects of fertility treatments particularly management of IVF patients, IVF protocols, oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, intrauterine inseminations, male infertility treatments, tese, pesa.

From 2001 to 2003 he worked as Registrar at North Manchester General Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital Manchester.

In 2001 he attended the Advanced Laparoscopic course at Royal Free London Hospital.

In 2002 he got the license of Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound from the University of Athens.

Since 2004 he has a private clinic in Athens, Sinopis str. 3 and he is a Consultant in IVF & Reproductive medicine Unit of MITERA Hospital and he consults couples with infertility problems from Greece and abroad

He is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology) and BFS (British Fertility Society).

Ηe has attended numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and he regularly gives lectures on fertility topics.
